Greenup ,IL 6/17/07 @ 09:19est

We Arrived in Greenup, IL this morning ! Boys are still strong despite two crashes ! Shawn slipped on gravel and crashed. Kiv crossed RR tracks and got his wheel wedged and was thrown... Despite all the drama the boys are fine! Working hard ! Trying to make up for the days when they could only run three. Jim has been burning it up. We have finished 2146.1 Miles and have 900.5 miles to go! STAY TUNED

You guys are continuing to ride strong... a true inspiration to us all. As I look at the RAAM current standards I notice that you may be passing solo men throughout the night. May you gather inspiration from all the amazing athletes participating along with you in this awesome event. Way to go Team VMG!!
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

So close, so...so...close. You're on the way home! It's just a matter of crankin' it out. Same ole' thing! It's part of your life now. Pedal, pedal, pedal, climb, climb, tuck, tuck tighter...make up a minute here and there. Turn on all burners and take it home. You guys rock!!!

Jim you've inspired me. Had a choice to make today... Golf or ride. Decided on a long ride, 3 hours not 3000 miles, but a ride none the less. Good luck and great job....... Ps.. Hows your sphinkter.... The gyno

Hey y'all!! I hope the team and crew are enjoying some of the comments-I quotes from Buzz Lightyear are making it on the Blog.. that's HUGE!..in light of quotes, here is one from the Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Taladega Knights) "If you ain't First you're Last!" but in this case I will edit the quote to fit the team- "If you ain't Third your last team VMG!!" move and groove!
Just some humor, you ALL rock no matter what!

Okay, I see your avg speed on that last leg has been changed (much like the disappearing penalty). I feel better now that I know you're on track. Is someone at race central just messin' with our heads???

Go Kiv, Shawn, Dan, Jim !!! You have good reason to start feeling good. We're so proud (and jealous).

Simply amazing athletes and crew! Sure wish you had time to update the blog. Absolutely smoked TS 48 and may have had a problem @ TS 49. You have almost made it, hold it together a little longer. Now is the time to crank if you have anything left.

Awesome!
